NJERHS Publications

To date, NJERHS has published 34 issues of Trolley Lines beginning in 2004. Trolley Lines provides information about the society and its restoration activities, including many photographs. Clicking the link sends you to the Trolley Lines master directory.

The NJERHS published 31 issues of DESTINATIONS between 1986 and 2001. It grew into a depository for detailed articles about transit developments and the activities of other organizations involved in the preservation and restoration of historic transit vehicles. Between 1942 and 1957 the, now defunct, North Jersey chapter National Railway Historical Society, published “The Marker.” Published contemporaneously with the operations and or the discontinuation of the lines covered, this newsletter proves to be a valuable, historic resource for research.

While organizing our archival space, we came across this newsletter. So far, it is the only one we’ve found. If any more are found, or if anyone is aware of additional issues, please let us know, so that we may post them.
